Join us for an unforgettable day watching Tonga's magnificent humpback whales from the comfort of our boat. This full-day adventure is perfect for those who prefer to observe these gentle giants from above water whilst still experiencing the magic of whale season.

We'll meet you at Faua Wharf in Nuku'alofa bright and early at 7:30 am for your 7-hour whale watching expedition. Once aboard, around 8 am, we'll head out into Tongatapu's pristine waters where the real adventure begins.

The day is dedicated to finding and observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. You'll witness whales breaching dramatically from the ocean, watch as their massive flukes emerge and disappear beneath the surface, and experience the awe-inspiring sight of these 40-tonne mammals playing in the deep blue waters around Tonga.

Whilst there will be swimmers on board taking advantage of Tonga's famous whale swimming opportunities, you can choose to stay comfortably on deck and enjoy the spectacular show from above. The viewing experience is just as rewarding, offering perfect photo opportunities and unobstructed views of the whales' behaviour.

Midway through the day, we'll take a break at one of Tongatapu's beautiful uninhabited islands (approximately 1 hour). Here you can stretch your legs, enjoy the included lunch, and soak up the peaceful island atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to relax and reflect on the morning's whale encounters.

Our tours are deliberately flexible, allowing us to follow the whales and make the most of every sighting. What we can promise is a fantastic day out on Tonga's stunning waters, complete with lunch, snorkelling gear for the island stop, and life vests all included in your experience.
