'Utula'aina Lookout, nestled in the northern part of Vava'u's main island, 'Utu Vava'u, is a remarkable spot for photography and whale-watching. After traversing a long, well-maintained gravel road and passing a hidden tomb in the bushes, visitors are greeted with awe-inspiring views of Vava'u's rugged cliffs, turquoise waters and white-sand beaches. An interpretation sign at the lookout also reveals its historical significance as the residence of the 10th Tu’i Tonga, adding a layer of cultural depth to the natural beauty.
