goes to carefully selected local environmental charities in tonga.
Each year, the local providers we work with vote on which environmental charities, NGOs or initiatives
they want to support. We don't play favourites – we simply split the 1% fairly between the chosen
causes. That way, your bookings reflect the values of the people hosting you.

This Year's Pick: Vava'u Environmental Protection Association
As we launch in Tonga, we’re starting strong by supporting two incredible
organisations. Your bookings are helping fund the Vava'u Environmental Protection Association (VEPA), which organises a range of initiatives, from coastal habitat planting to collecting
vital environmental data used to advocate for stronger protection laws.
We’re also backing SPREP, the
Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme, a regional organisation
working to protect and manage the environment and natural resources across the
Pacific.
