Directions

West of Houma village, 'Eua. The beach access road can be accessed from Houma's western streets (-21.31491, -174.93277 - see map).

From the map GPS pin, follow the narrow walking trail (clearing in the grass) around the pig pen. The trail is relatively easy to follow through the forest from here down to the beach. Either leave ribbons or make a note of landmarks seen along the way, as getting back the same way is more difficult to navigate.

A couple of more GPS co-ordinates to keep you on the right track are -21.31348, -174.93431 and -21.31223, -174.93582.

The access trail is approximately 500 m (550 yards), so allow around 20 minutes to walk one way.
