Venture to Hafu Pool, a serene collection of freshwater pools nestled within the forest. These pools are maintained by two small concrete dams, ensuring an ideal dipping depth. Across the pool lies a well-established trail leading to the "Big 'Ovava Tree #1". The pools, also known as Kumete ‘a ‘Aho’eitu, are a site steeped in history. This location served as the bathing spot for the renowned and exceptionally handsome warrior, Tu’i Ha’atala. Legend has it that the water dripping from him as he emerged from the pool gave rise to the stream that flows down to Hafu Pool and the nearby Heke Stream.
