The Fangatave Cliffs Hike, situated in the northeast of the island, offers a thrilling but challenging adventure. While some travellers may attempt this hike independently, it's essential to note that the terrain can be confusing, making a guide highly recommended. The hike primarily involves scrambling down rocks until you eventually reach Fangatave Beach. Along the way, you'll encounter a view of Kahana Spring and approximately 11 caves that can be explored. At the base of the hike, Fangatave Beach welcomes you with more opportunities for scenic walks, refreshing swims and breathtaking views of the cliffs you just descended. It's worth noting that you'll need to climb back up the same way you came down!
